About Us

Actual was founded in 2005 by Stephen Thorn and Suzanne Dunbar from a converted barn near their home in Ashwell, North Hertfordshire.

With a name like Actual we can't help but actually deliver results. Indeed, we'd probably have to change the name sharpish if we didn't.

Our clients, who seem to be a consistently satisfied bunch, tell us that we deliver on time and are good value compared to City-based agencies (which stands to reason as we have barn-related overheads).

Naturally curious, if not downright nosey, we enjoy working in a variety of sectors such as food, horticulture, interior design and publishing.
