Flora-tec

The Background
Flora-tec is one of the UK's largest dedicated corporate horticulture companies. Based in Cambridge, the company provides a total interior and exterior design, supply and maintenance service to its clients throughout the UK.
The Brief
Flora-tec began working with luxury hotel group Hand Picked Hotels in 2003, and now provide grounds maintenance services to seven of the group's hotels.
Actual was asked to help increase the number of exterior contracts Flora-tec hold with hotels in the UK, as well as publicise their success in working with such a prestigious organisation.
The Solution
Actual created a direct mail (DM) campaign, incorporating both offline and email components, to target potential new hotel clients and encourage enquiries for Flora-tec services.
The programme involved managing the whole DM process from the design and copywriting of the new material, to the cleaning and verification of the contact data list, to conducting follow up calls.
In addition to the direct marketing campaign Actual refreshed the Flora-tec logo and rolled it out across all brand communication.

The Results
As a result of Actual's work several new hotel groups have expressed an interest in Flora-tec's services - including a world-famous five-star London hotel, which has invited Flora-tec to tender for a major contract.
In addition, the material prepared for the DM campaign was re-worked and used as content in the Flora-tec Quarterly Newsletters, Case Study and additional content for the Flora-tec website. Click here to find out more.
